Day 12 - Exploring Hafnarhólmi (Puffins)
Breakfast around 7.30am then we leave and drive to Fardagafoss, 10 min drive. We walk up to the highest point, great view. Then we wanted to see the WWII LCM ship wreck (landing craft mechanized) after 20 km over very bad gravel we decide to turn back. Then we drive to Hólmanes Nature Reserve, beautiful rock formations.
As we were so impressed by the puffins yesterday, we decide to go back and drive to Hafnarhólmi where we stay for some time.
Then back to hotel. On our way we see some beautiful Whooper swans. We buy some groceries and have a drink in the sun at the hotel. Dinner around 7pm.
